So, he was being punished. The question is, is it an adequate punishment?
He had insulted and humiliated the whole chinese community, and also throw the whole country into racial and political chaos. And all he gets is just a three year suspension??!! Shouldn't him be sacked from the party for the shame and damage he had done??!! And the most funny part is he is given a chance to appeal so there is a possibility that he got his punishment to be reduced to 3 months or even less.
It is disappointing when the UMNO supreme council has not even directed that idiot to apologize to the chinese community. Even the issue of tearing Tan Sri Koh's phone was not address by the counsil. This is totally unacceptable. This incident has took place and it has taited UMNO's and also the BN's reputation.
When the UMNO leader declared that the 'penumpang' statement has nothing to do with the party and it was totally Ahmad's personal opinion, why was the UMNO Secretary General TengKU Adnan attending the immediate press-conference held by Ahmad?? This actually convey a message that the statement was not just a personal bravodo by Ahmad but has also gain strong and powerful backing up by UMNO.
